Anna Paulina Luna, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, invited members of the Russian State Duma to visit Washington in January this year. The politician herself announced this on January 7.

She noted that she had received permission from the State Department to visit the American capital by four members of the State Duma to discuss peace talks and other issues.
