Kevin Keegan, a former player of the Liverpool football team, coach of the England national football team and two-time winner of the Golden Ball, was diagnosed with cancer. This was announced on January 7 by the club's press service.
"Kevin was recently admitted to the hospital for further examination due to persistent abdominal symptoms. As a result of the examinations, he was diagnosed with cancer, and he will undergo treatment," the Sport-Express club said in a statement.
