Goldobin's double helped SKA beat Lada in the KHL match

St. Petersburg Hockey Club (HC) SKA defeated Tolyatti Lada 5-4 in overtime in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season match.

Rocco Grimaldi (twice), Nikolai Goldobin (twice, including the winning goal in overtime) and Egor Savikov scored. Altybarmakyan, Yurcho, Chivilev and Savchik scored for Lada. Goldobin also had two assists, reaching the 300-point mark in the KHL.

The Tolyatti team suffered its seventh defeat in a row, its last victory was dated December 19th. SKA ranks 7th in the KHL Western Conference standings, Lada 11th.

Yaroslavl HC Lokomotiv defeated CSKA Moscow in a KHL match in a shootout on January 4. Regular time and overtime ended with a score of 1:1. Denis Zernov scored for CSKA, and Byron Fraz scored for Lokomotiv. The winning shootout was scored by Artur Kayumov.
