In Iran, 36 people were killed and more than two thousand people were arrested as a result of mass protests in 92 cities of the country. This was announced on January 6 by the organization of Iranian human rights defenders HRANA.

"In recent days, at least 285 locations in 92 cities in 27 provinces have witnessed protest gatherings. During these events, at least 2,076 citizens were arrested and at least 36 people died, including 34 protesters and two members of the security forces and law enforcement agencies," the report said.

It is noted that attacks on medical centers have begun.

In general, the situation in Iran is becoming increasingly tense. Along with the continuation of some workers' actions, there are street demonstrations and strikes by merchants and students.
