OP of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education have begun work on the "home nursery" project

The Civic Chamber (CC) and the Russian Ministry of Education have begun work on a pilot project of "home nurseries". This became known on January 7.

It is assumed that a mother with many children can create a "family kindergarten" where she will look after not only her own, but also other children who will be entrusted by parents living in the neighborhood.

"Parents will be able to send children under the age of three directly to such a family for care and supervision, or, say, to a preschool group near their home," Sergei Rybalchenko, chairman of the Commission on Demography, protection of family, children and traditional family values, told the TASS news agency.

In his opinion, children will spend most of their time in home nurseries, and once a week they will attend kindergarten with a nanny.

Earlier, on October 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with a proposal to think about the development of a nursery system in the country. In turn, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko spoke about the preparation of changes that will make it possible to provide places in nurseries and kindergartens for children from student families as a matter of priority.
