Fines for transporting children in a car without a car seat or other restraints will double from January 9. This became known on January 7.
"Amendments have been made to Part 3 of Article 12.23 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). According to the innovations, the administrative fine for violating the requirements for transporting children for the driver will range from 3 to 5 thousand rubles, for officials — from 25 to 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities — from 100 to 200 thousand rubles," the TASS news agency quoted the materials.
It is noted that for self-employed taxi drivers, the fine will be calculated as for officials and will amount to 50 thousand rubles.
