The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has granted neutral status to three Russian snowboarders.: Yaroslav Stepanko, Arseniy Tomin and Kristina Paul. This was announced on January 6 on the organization's website.

In addition, the organization assigned a neutral status to Maxim Klokov, a member of the coaching staff of the Russian national freestyle skiing team.
