Rospotrebnadzor has suspended the import of a number of Nestle baby dry mixes
Rospotrebnadzor has introduced a temporary sanitary measure to suspend the import of a number of Nestle baby dry mixes into Russia. This was announced on January 6 by the press service of the supervisory authority.
"A temporary sanitary measure has been introduced to suspend the import of products into the territory of the Russian Federation...> due to the possible presence of cereulide toxin," the agency said.
The temporary ban includes mixtures of NAN OPTIPRO, NAN Supreme, NAN EXPERPRO, PreNAN, Nestogen Comfort and Alfare Amino brands with production dates from April 15 to November 27, 2025. The toxin was found in the vegetable oils of an external supplier. Its use may cause vomiting or diarrhea.
The turnover of these products in the territory of the Russian Federation is prohibited. Rospotrebnadzor recommends that consumers take this information into account when choosing food for children and specify the return procedure on the manufacturer's website. These products are not subject to mandatory labeling in Russia.
