Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Center for talented children and youth of the Kherson region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a center for talented children and youth in the Kherson region. This was announced on January 6 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Three attack drones with powerful charges at extremely low altitude tried to fly in from the Sea of Azov. Two were shot down by the air defense and did not cause harm, one fell on the territory of the Center. Administrative buildings and residential cottages were damaged," Saldo wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor called the attack despicable and stressed that the facility is civilian and intended for children. According to him, the attack was carried out on a holiday and became a continuation of the policy of harming the civilian population after the terrorist attack in Khorlakh.

On January 5, the governor announced that security measures would be strengthened in the Kherson region after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly.

On December 4, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the number of victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly increased to 29 people. At least 60 people were injured in the attack. There are 15 people in medical institutions, three of them are in serious condition.

On January 1, the Governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, spoke about the strike of three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly, Kalanchak municipal district. A criminal case has been opened into the terrorist attack.

At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin heard a report by Baldo on the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike and the course of investigative actions. Subsequently, he agreed that the crime was similar to the burning of people in Odessa on May 2, 2014.
