The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are attempting a massive UAV attack in the Kherson region. This was announced on January 6 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"The enemy is attempting a mass UAV attack on the territory of the Kherson region," the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, all emergency and utility services have been put on alert for the prompt elimination of possible consequences.
On January 5, Baldo reported that security measures would be strengthened in the Kherson region after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly. The governor also stressed that gatherings of civilians are no less threatened than military installations.
The governor spoke about the strike of three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly, Kalanchak municipal district. A criminal case on the terrorist attack was opened on the fact of the incident.
On January 4, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the number of victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on a cafe and a hotel in the village of Khorly increased to 29 people. At least 60 people were injured in the attack. There are 15 people in medical institutions, the condition of three of them was assessed as serious.
