La Patilla reported shots fired near the residence of the President of Venezuela

Shots were heard in the area of the official residence of the President of Venezuela, Miraflores Palace. This was reported on January 6 by the newspaper La Patilla.

"Videos posted by local residents show the sounds of gunfire, which caused alarm in the capital. According to preliminary information circulating in the area, anti—aircraft batteries were activated after the detection of an unidentified aircraft flying over the restricted airspace of the government complex," the publication says.
