Drozdenko announced the elimination of the AFU drone by electronic warfare in the Leningrad region

An unmanned aerial vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was suppressed by electronic warfare in the Volkhovsky district of the Leningrad region. This was announced on January 6 in the Telegram channel by Governor Alexander Drozdenko.

"The fall of UAV debris was recorded near the village of Berezhki, including on the territory of the compressor station. There are no casualties. There is no threat of fire," Drozdenko wrote.

He added that the crash site has been cordoned off by the police, verification measures are being carried out, and the damage is being clarified.

The drone can detect targets, being invulnerable to many air defense systems.

Earlier, on January 5, it was reported that two civilians were killed in the Belgorod region as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of them died on the spot in the village of Novostroevka-First, the second in a private house in the village of Belyanka.
