Temporary flight restrictions were introduced at the airports of Kazan and Nizhnekamsk. This was announced on January 6 by the press secretary of the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAFT) of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, Artem Korenyako, in his Telegram channel.
"Kazan and Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo) airports. Temporary restrictions have been introduced on the admission and release of aircraft," he said.
Korenyako stressed that such measures are required to ensure flight safety.
Earlier in the day, it was reported about the introduction of time restrictions at the airports of Pulkovo, Samara, Ulyanovsk and Yaroslavl. In Pulkovo, the restrictions were later lifted.
