In Chuvashia, four people were injured in a collision between two cars on 19 km of the Kugesi–Atlashevo–Novocheboksarsk highway. This was announced on January 5 in the State Traffic Inspectorate for the region in the Telegram channel.

"The driver, born in 1992, while driving a Mitsubishi Outlander, lost control, drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a Lada Granta driven by a driver born in 1992," the department said.

It is noted that among the injured, a two-year-old passenger of a foreign car was taken to the hospital for examination. At the time of the accident, she was in a child safety seat in the back row of the car.
