Cloudy, light snow, moderate in places, and icy conditions await residents of the capital region on Tuesday, January 6. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from -7 to -5 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -9.

In the Moscow region, it will be from -10 to -5 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -11 degrees.

A southerly and southeasterly wind with a speed of 3-8 m/s is expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 752-755 mmHg.

Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said on Sunday, January 4, that the coming week from January 5 to January 12 would be frosty for residents of the capital and its region: temperatures could reach -25 degrees. In addition, during this period, a low-cloud Scandinavian anticyclone will hit Moscow and the Moscow region, which will cause the thermometer to drop to an average temperature of -17 to -22 degrees at night, and in some places it may reach -25 degrees.
