Two people were killed and three injured in an accident on a highway in Bashkiria.

In Bashkiria, an accident involving two passenger cars occurred, as a result of which two people were killed and three injured. This was announced on January 5 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the republic.

According to preliminary data, the accident occurred on the 32nd km of Ufa's western bypass. Lada Granta and Toyota Yaris cars became its participants.

"The driver and passenger of the Lada Granta died on the spot, three more participants in the accident were hospitalized with various injuries," the department's Telegram channel said.

Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and doctors are working at the scene of the accident. The circumstances of the tragedy are being clarified.
