Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are withdrawing a special unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine from the Volchansk direction due to high losses. This was reported on January 5 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is withdrawing a unit of the Timur Center from the Volchansk direction to make up for losses," RIA Novosti quoted the message as saying.

It is specified that this special unit was used in the special operation zone as an assault infantry.
