On January 1, a law came into force in Russia that allows ninth grade graduates who have not passed the mandatory state exam (OGE) to get a job for free, the list of which will be determined by regional authorities. This was reported on January 4 in the press service of the State Duma (State Duma).

"Ninth grade graduates who have not passed the state final certification will be able to get a working profession from the list determined by the regional authorities for free," the message says.
