One person was killed and two injured in an accident in the Rostov region.

As a result of a car leaving the road and a subsequent fire on the Rostov–Semikarakorsk–Volgodonsk highway, one person was killed and two more were injured. This was reported on January 4 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"The driver, born in 2000, driving a Mercedes-Benz car, according to preliminary data, lost control due to heavy rain and allowed the exit from the road, as a result of which the car caught fire," the Telegram channel said.

It is specified that as a result of the accident, one of the passengers died on the spot, the driver of the vehicle and another passenger were injured. Investigative measures are being carried out and the causes of the accident are being established.
