In the Wijnegem shopping center in the Belgian province of Antwerp, a protracted conflict between two women escalated into a fight with a gas canister, which injured 17 people — four were hospitalized. This was reported on January 4 by Sudinfo, citing law enforcement officials.

"There was a fierce fight involving two women and a couple with a child...> One of the two women used a gas canister," the article says.

It is specified that 17 people were injured in the incident, four of whom were hospitalized. The rest were examined by doctors at the scene. Representatives of the local police said that the instigators of the brawl had been detained, and also added that an investigation was underway into the incident.

On November 29, 2025, the San Francisco Chronicle reported four dead and over 10 injured in a shooting at a children's party in San Francisco. It later became known that the dead included children aged eight, nine and 14, as well as a 21-year-old man. Investigators said that what the fugitive had done "was not a random act." They stated that they had begun working out various versions and establishing motives for the crime.
