Hungary did not support Callas' statement on the situation in Venezuela
The Hungarian government refused to support the statement by the head of the European Diplomacy, Kai Kallas, on the situation around Venezuela. This follows from a document posted on January 4 on the website of the European External Relations Service.
"This statement was supported by 26 EU member states: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden," the document says.
Hungary is not on this list, therefore, it became the only participating country that did not support the Callas statement.
