Cloudy, light short—term snow - such weather awaits residents of the capital region on Monday, January 5. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from -6 to -1 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to -10.

In the Moscow region, it will be from -6 to -1 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to -10 degrees.

Westerly and southwesterly winds with a speed of 3 m/s during the day and 2 m/s at night are expected.

Atmospheric pressure will be 746-753 mmHg.

Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said on Sunday, January 4, that the coming week from January 5 to January 12 would be frosty for residents of the capital and its region: temperatures could reach up to -25 degrees. In addition, during this period, a low-cloud Scandinavian anticyclone will enter Moscow and the Moscow region, which will cause the night thermometers to drop to temperatures from -17 to -22 degrees on average, and in some places they may reach -25 degrees.
