Three children were injured in a chain accident in the Kuban

In Korenovsk, Krasnodar Territory, a driver who lost consciousness at the wheel caused a chain accident involving two other cars, as a result of which three minors were injured. This was announced on January 4 by the Kuban State Traffic Inspectorate.

"At about 15:30 in the city of Korenovsky on Matrosova Street opposite household No. 5, the driver of a Chevrolet car born in 1973 lost consciousness, entered the lane intended for oncoming traffic, where he collided with a Kia Spectra car. Moving further, he collided with a Honda car, where three minors were injured," said a representative of the State Traffic Inspectorate.

He also noted that the injured children were taken to GBU Skorenevskaya CRH, where they need medical care.

Earlier that day, four people were killed and four others injured in a collision between five cars and a truck in the Rostov region. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules by a person driving a vehicle, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons").
