Lokomotiv defeated CSKA in the KHL match by shootout

Yaroslavl Hockey Club (HC) Lokomotiv defeated CSKA Moscow in a shootout match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) on January 4.

Regular time and overtime ended with a score of 1:1. Denis Zernov scored for CSKA, and Byron Fraz scored for Lokomotiv. The winning shootout was scored by Artur Kayumov.

This is the fourth victory of Yaroslavl over the army team this season. Lokomotiv retained the first place in the Western Conference with 58 points, while CSKA is in sixth place with 48 points. The team's next matches will be played on January 6.
