Flight restrictions lifted at Vnukovo Airport

Temporary restrictions on aircraft admission and release have been lifted at Vnukovo Airport. This was announced on January 4 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

"Vnukovo Airport. Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

He clarified that the restrictions were necessary to ensure flight safety.

It will not be easy to achieve compensation for moral damage — a large-scale failure may be recognized as force majeure.

Restrictions were introduced at Vnukovo Airport earlier that day. Later, Korenyako clarified that Vnukovo Airport accepts and dispatches flights in coordination with the relevant authorities. Restrictions at Zhukovsky Airport were also introduced earlier that day, but they were later lifted.
