Vienna police found a grenade in front of a synagogue in Leopoldstadt
The grenade was found near the synagogue on Tempelgasse Street in Vienna's Leopoldstadt district. This was reported on January 4 by the Austria Today agency.

The explosive device was in a bag left in the entrance of the building opposite the synagogue. The bag was discovered by a synagogue employee. Sappers arrived at the scene, who seized and removed the device.
An inspection is being carried out, including whether the grenade belongs to the period of the Second World War. The police handed over information about the incident to the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence.
In the village of Oldříšov in the Czech Republic last April, workers discovered a 100 kg World War II-era aerial bomb at a construction site. It was clarified that the aerial bomb was found at 14:30 local time (15:30 Moscow time) in the cottage area of Oldzhishov. The sappers examined the object, after which they reported that it could be defused. At 17:20 local time (18:20 Moscow time), residents were allowed to return to their homes.
