The governor of the Belgorod region announced the intensification of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the region

The number of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Belgorod region has increased. This was announced on January 4 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Today, the enemy has intensified attacks on the Belgorod region. Only from 9:00 to 15:00 [Moscow time], units recorded about 60 UAVs over the region, more than half of them were shot down," Gladkov wrote.

He urged residents to follow safety rules and be attentive to messages from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as warnings about the danger of drones.

Earlier that day, in the village of Oktyabrsky, Belgorod region, one person was killed and two were injured after a targeted strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The injured were taken to the Oktyabrskaya district hospital, where they were treated. Their condition is serious. In the future, the wounded will be transferred to medical institutions in Belgorod.
