Air defense systems destroyed five more drones flying to Moscow.

The Air Defense Forces destroyed five more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that were flying towards Moscow. This was announced on January 4 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed five UAVs flying to Moscow," Sobyanin wrote on the MAX messenger.

He clarified that emergency services specialists are working at the crash site.

The drone can detect targets, being invulnerable to many air defense systems.

Earlier, Sobyanin reported on the destruction of six drones flying to Moscow. Prior to that, the air defense forces destroyed two UAVs heading towards the capital. In addition, another drone was shot down earlier on its approach to Moscow. Later, seven more UAVs were eliminated.
