Sobyanin announced the destruction of seven more drones flying to Moscow.

The Air Defense Forces destroyed seven more unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that were flying towards Moscow. This was announced on January 4 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The attack of seven more drones was repelled. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," Sobyanin wrote on the MAX messenger.

Earlier, the mayor reported on the destruction of six drones flying to Moscow. Prior to that, the air defense forces destroyed two UAVs heading towards the capital. In addition, another drone was shot down earlier on the approach to Moscow.

The drone can detect targets, being invulnerable to many air defense systems.

On the same day, it was reported that air defense systems destroyed 11 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. It was clarified that eight drones were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region, two over the Kursk region and one over the Ryazan region.
