As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Kursk region, a 55-year-old man was killed.

A 55-year-old civilian was killed in an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Kursk region. This was announced on January 4 by the governor of the region, Alexander Khinstein.

"Today, an enemy FPV drone attacked the village of Novaya Nikolaevka in the Rylsky district. To my great sorrow, a 55-year—old man died as a result of the impact," the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.

Khinstein also expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and urged residents of the region to be careful in connection with attacks by Ukrainian drones.

Earlier that day, in the village of Oktyabrsky, Belgorod region, one person was killed and two were injured after a targeted strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The injured were taken to the Oktyabrskaya district hospital, where they were treated. Their condition is serious. In the future, the wounded will be transferred to medical institutions in Belgorod.
