The fabulous film "Pinocchio" has collected more than 1 billion rubles in the first four days of distribution in Russia. This was confirmed on January 4 by data from the Unified Federal Automated Information System of the Cinema Foundation.

"General fees — 1 023 514 779 ", — the message on the EAIS website says.

The film directed by Igor Voloshin was released on January 1, 2026. According to the system, it has already been watched by over 1.8 million viewers.

It is also known that the pre-sale of tickets for the film amounted to almost 184 million rubles. On the first day of rental, the film collected more than 226 million rubles.

Analysts of the Bulletin of the Film Distributor and the Vanta Group company said on December 23 that the Pinocchio film tale became the leader of polls on the most anticipated films for the New Year. The interest rate in the feed increased from 28 to 57 points. Vadim Smirnov, General Director of NMG Film Distribution, told Izvestia that the audience's love for Pinocchio will last for many years.

The film was released right on the occasion of the half-century anniversary of the premiere of the Soviet film, and there is no way to resist comparisons. The interest of the audience turned out to be so high that cinemas have to introduce additional sessions.
