Four people died in a massive road accident in Tatarstan

A massive road accident involving at least 10 cars occurred in Tatarstan, resulting in four deaths. This was reported on January 4 in the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the republic.

"A massive traffic accident involving at least 10 vehicles, including heavy trucks, has been reported on the toll section of the Kazan-Almetyevsk highway," the Telegram channel says.

According to the agency, as a result of the incident, four people were killed and several others were injured. In addition, a criminal case was initiated under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements").

Earlier that day, four people were killed and four others injured in a collision between five cars and a truck in the Rostov region. A criminal case has been opened on this fact under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules by a person driving a vehicle, which negligently resulted in the death of two or more persons").
