Colombia convenes meetings of the UN Security Council and the OAS Council on Venezuela

Colombia has called meetings of the UN Security Council and the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) on Venezuela in connection with the attack on the country. This was announced on January 4 by the Director of the Administrative Department of the Presidential Administration of Colombia, Anji Rodriguez.

"Colombia has called a meeting of the UN Security Council for Monday. A request was also sent to hold an emergency meeting of the OAS Permanent Council and a meeting of the foreign ministers of the CELAC countries, in which Colombia is chairman," she said at a press conference.
