The city of Gubkin in the Belgorod region was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as a result, a civilian was injured. This was announced on January 4 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"An ambulance team is delivering a woman with barotrauma, as well as shrapnel wounds to her back, arms and legs, to the Gubkin CRH. All necessary assistance is being provided," the head of the region wrote on his Telegram channel.

Gladkov said that a retail space caught fire at the site of the impact, and the fire was extinguished by emergency workers. According to the governor, the facade of a commercial facility was damaged, windows were broken in three apartment buildings in the vicinity, and a car was also damaged by shrapnel.

Information about other consequences is being clarified, operational services are working at the scene.

Gladkov reported on January 2 that three civilians had been injured in the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Belgorod region. It is noted that in the village of Belyanka, Shebekinsky district, a man and a woman were injured due to an FPV drone attack on a moving car. Gladkov informed them that they had received mine-explosion injuries, as well as shrapnel wounds to the hip and shoulder, after which they were sent to a local hospital.
