The Supreme Court of Venezuela has ordered the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguez, to temporarily serve as head of state. This was reported by Bloomberg on January 4.

"The Supreme Court of Venezuela has ordered Vice President Delcy Rodriguez to immediately assume all presidential powers and perform them as acting president," the publication says.
