Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who was captured by the US authorities, is at the office of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in New York. This was announced on January 4 by the Noticiac Telemundo TV channel.

It is clarified that after arriving at Stewart Air Base, the Venezuelan leader was taken to a helipad in Manhattan, from where he was redirected to the DEA office.

"He was taken by car to the office of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on 10th Avenue in New York, where he will undergo the registration procedure and will be sent to the metropolitan detention center in Brooklyn," the publication says.
