On January 3, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the existence of a new chance to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

"Now we have a new wave, a new chance to end this conflict," the Telegram channel said.

Zelensky clarified that a meeting was held with representatives of the "coalition of the willing," during which the sequence of further steps to resolve the conflict was discussed. He added that it is planned to hold a meeting of the chiefs of general staff on January 5, and a meeting of the leaders in Paris on January 6.

Some of the possible candidates have already refused to participate in the alliance.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov announced on January 3 that advisers from the countries of the "coalition of the willing" had arrived in Kiev to hold talks. Umerov noted that during the consultations, the parties intend to discuss issues related to security and the economy, work on framework documents, and agree on further steps and a format for interaction with international partners.
