On January 3, US President Donald Trump, who launched a military operation against Venezuela, posted a video clip depicting an alleged challenge from the President of the republic, Nicolas Maduro.

Thus, the material he published on the TruthSocial social network is divided into three almost identical time parts.

The first consists of a furious speech by Maduro, who, standing on the podium, allegedly calls on the "coward" Trump to "come after him," the second depicts an angry eagle preparing to take off — one of the national symbols of the United States, and the final part demonstrated large-scale strikes by the United States Air Force (VVS) on Venezuela.

Lively music plays against the background of all segments, accompanied by shouts of "God Bless America!" ("God bless America!").

In fact, Maduro's speech, which formed the basis of the first part of the video, took place back in 2024. At that time, he was not challenging Trump at all, but his electoral rival Edmund Gonzalez Urrutia, but in the publication posted by the American leader, the name of Maduro's rival was cut out during installation.

A large-scale strike on Venezuela became known on the same day. Trump said that the purpose of his operation was to capture Maduro, who, along with his wife, Celia Flores, had already been taken to New York. On January 3, The New York Times (NYT) newspaper, citing sources, reported at least 40 dead in the US attack on Venezuela.

Later, Dtytce's vice president Delcy Rodriguez, who had previously declared a state of emergency in the country, said that Washington had committed an act of aggression against the republic under a far-fetched pretext.
