Air defense systems shot down another unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which was flying towards Moscow. This was announced on Saturday evening, January 3, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed one UAV flying to Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he said in a message on the MAX messenger.
