The Air Defense forces destroyed one unmanned aerial vehicle heading towards Moscow. This was announced on January 3 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense system shot down one UAV flying to Moscow," the report said.

Emergency services are working at the crash site of the drone.
