ATOR announced the intention of more than 200 tourists to visit Venezuela
More than 200 people planned to visit Venezuela for tourist purposes. This was reported to Izvestia on January 3 by the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
"According to preliminary information, more than 200 people planned to fly to Venezuela for tourist purposes," the statement said.
It is noted that tour operators offer to rebook valid tickets to any alternative destinations, including with a change in travel dates. Passengers of the Conviasa flight can also request a refund on their own.
At the same time, according to the representative of the ATOR Legal Service, it is difficult to refund funds on public holidays, since all commercial organizations and banks are closed.
The association also previously reported that currently there are no organized tourists in Caracas through Russian ATOR member tour operators. They added that the last flight took off for Moscow on January 2, and now it has landed in Vnukovo.
