Russian forward of the Vegas Golden Knights Pavel Dorofeev scored the 16th goal of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL) in the regular season match against the St. Louis Blues and beat the Washington Capitals forward in the race of Russian snipers. The meeting took place on the night of January 2-3 and ended with a score of 4:3 in favor of the team from St. Louis.

Ovechkin currently has 15 goals scored, and he ranks fourth. Nikita Kucherov from Tampa Bay Lightning is on the second line of the rating, who was able to score 19 goals. Leading the list is Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov. He scored 23 goals.
