The Federation Council recalled tax benefits for pensioners

Pensioners can avoid paying taxes for one apartment, one house, one building in the yard and one garage, as well as discounts on land and transport taxes. This was announced on January 3 by Natalia Melnikova, senator, former head of the Social Fund department in the Pskov region.

"Pensioners can avoid paying tax on the following property: an apartment, a residential building, a garage, an outbuilding, a room used for a creative workshop. At the same time, tax exemption can be obtained only for one object of each type: for one apartment or one house," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
