Iranian police seized several weapons from protesters in the south-west of the country.

Representatives of the law enforcement agencies of Shushtar province of Khuzestan of the Islamic Republic of Iran detained participants of mass protests and seized several pieces of both cold steel and firearms from them. This was reported by the Mehr news agency on Saturday, January 3.

"The violators of the order were identified and detained, and a Colt pistol, 12 cold weapons and a magazine were also found with them," the Telegram channel said.
