A helicopter carrying four people crashed in the mountains near Phoenix, Arizona, USA. This was reported on Friday, January 2, by the ABS News TV channel, citing government officials.

"A private helicopter with four people on board crashed in the mountains near Phoenix on Friday. <...> The helicopter took off from the Pegasus Airpark in Queen Creek, Arizona, located west of Superior," the material says.

The crash with the MD 369FF aircraft occurred approximately around 11:00 (21:00 Moscow time). It is noted that experts from the National Transportation Safety Board and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are currently investigating the incident.

Currently, there is no information about those injured or killed in the crash.

The press service of the Hammonton Fire Department, which is located in New Jersey, on December 28, 2025, reported the crash of two helicopters in one of the city's districts. It was noted that one of the vessels caught fire as a result of the incident, and the second one fell into a wooded area, which made access and search operations difficult for rescuers. Then it was reported that one of the victims was found at the crash site, who was trying to rescue from the wreckage.
