According to preclinical studies, the effectiveness of the Russian vaccine for the treatment of melanoma (a malignant tumor that develops from pigment cells) is more than 90%. This was announced on Saturday, January 3, by Alexander Gintsburg, Scientific director of the N. F. Gamalei National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Ministry of Health.
"Preclinical animal studies have been conducted, high efficiency, in fact, the efficiency was approaching more than 90%. If we look at the disappearance of the main body of the tumor, then we can say 100%, about 90% for metastases," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
