Pro-Palestinian activists entered the factory of the aerospace company Bruntons Aero Products (BAP) and damaged equipment and computer servers. This was reported on January 2 by The Daily Telegraph newspaper, citing the police.

"At about 00:35 (21:35 Moscow time) on Thursday, January 1, 2026, employees received a report of a break-in and damage to property in a room on Eskmills Road in Musselburgh. The investigation is ongoing," a Scottish Police spokesman said.

The penetration occurred on New Year's Eve: according to the publication, the activists thus expressed their disapproval of BAP, which supplies components to defense companies such as British BAE Systems and Italian Leonardo, which provide weapons to Israel.

It is noted that the activists used hammers to destroy the equipment, and also left graffiti at the site of the pogrom with the words "This is the only way to end this" and "Remove Leonardo." The incident was confirmed by the local police. Currently, none of the pro-Palestinian organizations in Britain has commented on the incident or claimed responsibility, the newspaper writes.

On October 21, British Defense Minister John Healy announced that a group of British military personnel under the command of a high-ranking general had been sent to Israel to monitor the truce in Gaza. It is specified that the British major general heading this group will be involved as the deputy commander of the United States, who is responsible for the leadership of the military-civilian coordination center.
