More than a hundred people died in road accidents in Thailand during the New Year holidays.

In Thailand, over 100 people were killed in traffic accidents during the first days of the New Year holidays. This was announced on January 2 by the country's road safety center on its Facebook page (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

According to the agency, the key causes of most accidents were driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
