The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) punishes military personnel during the training of militants, threatening to send them to the front line near Krasnoarmeysk (the Ukrainian name is Pokrovsk). This was announced on January 2 by Ukrainian prisoner Vladimir Litkin.

According to the militant, the military enlistment offices mobilized him during a mushroom hunt.

"They didn't teach much in school, they went to classes, they held classes in the forest — the child will cope. They didn't give me any special skills," he said.

Litkin clarified that after the training, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine introduced a system of fines for drinking alcohol, and also threatened to be sent to the combat zone in the area of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name — Pokrovsk), in case of poor training.

"While I was in the 32nd brigade after training, it happened that if the first alcohol charge was 17 thousand fine, the second one was 100 thousand. Well, they said, if you don't listen, teach, then immediately go to Pokrovsk, to zero," the prisoner shared.

It is noted that during the surrender to the Russian military of the Center group of forces near the Red Army, Litkin's colleague was killed by a drone when he was leaving the Ukrainian positions.

"I don't want to return to Ukraine because they are driving me to certain death. I don't want to die," Litkin summed up.

The day before, Roman Dubovik, a prisoner of war, shared that the AFU militants who went on the run cut off their fingers with an axe because they did not want to return to the front. He added that one of his captured colleagues decided to injure himself with an axe blow to the head so that he would not be sent to the front line.
