Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were intercepted over the territory of three districts of the Rostov region and the waters of the Taganrog Bay last night. This was announced on January 2 by the governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"During the night in the Rostov region, UAVs were destroyed and suppressed in the Verkhnedonsky, Chertkovsky and Sholokhovsky districts, as well as over the waters of the Taganrog Bay," he said in a Telegram channel message.

The head of the region stressed that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties as a result of the incident. He added that information about the possible consequences of this incident on earth will be clarified.
